HOMETOWN
Hello guys welcome back to my blog!
i would like to tell you about my hometown
First for all who don't know me
let me introduce myself, my name is Putri Mentari Aliffya Setyadi. You can call me Fya. I'm from Tegal, Central Java.
Ok let's get started!
My beloved hometown is located in the northwestern part of Central Java Province. the northern part is the lowlands. while the shoutern part is the mountains with the peak of Mount Slamet. on the border of Pemalang Regency, there are a series of steep hills and a large river that flows, namely Kali Gung and Kali Erang.
There are so many tours here such as hot springs Guci, cacaban reservoirs, curug penganten, lake beko margasari, cempaka village tour and others. but now i will describe about hot springs Guci. why I describe this tour because it is the most famous. It is located at the foot of Mount Slamet. Guci Tourism Area provides natural warm water from the bowels of the earth and cool mountain air. Warm water baths from a warm waterfall that flows swiftly from the top of the hill. Hot water bath. The water jars are hot and clear, untranslated and colorless. Guci's baths have 25 differences. There are also many villas and hotels here. Hotel pools are available for hotel guests staying. Visitors outside the hotel can enter it at certain rates. The hotel's hot tub facilities look better maintained. In addition to hot water, this place also provides various facilities. Forest tours, tennis courts, soccer fields, hotels, villas and campsites. Lodging and hotel can be found about 5 kilometers from the bathing area.
Next I will tell about culinary here. there are various culinary specialties such as tofu aci, olos, teapot, noodle crackers, martabak lebaksiu, batibul goat satay and others. but i will describe about Aci Tofu and Olos. Aci tofu has a savory and crispy taste. Aci tofu is made of yellow tofu, in the form of a square which is then halved to form 2 right triangles. Then the halved part is given a mixture made from starch (aci), pieces of kocai leaves, garlic and some other seasonings. This food is good to eat when it's hot.
Then, now is olos. Olos is a typical Tegal shaped fried food that is made from starch mixed with flour and contains cabbage in it. But now many new innovations in olos contents are developed by olos traders, there are sausage, chicken, cheese and others. What is unique from the olos itself is the spicy taste. Arena besides containing cabbage, olos also includes cayenne pepper. That's what makes the oloser (the term for olos connoisseurs) sweat and feel paranoid, even so olos is still sought after by olos lovers and spicy lovers.
Then there is the ruwat earth Guci tradition. The procession starts with Gunungan or offerings from various types of plants and continues with the ritual of bathing the Kendit Goat (a special black sheep with a white circumference on its stomach). Then proceed with the sprinkling of flowers in the location of the bath around Guci (Shower 13). This ritual is a symbol of affection for God's creatures. While the goat itself is a symbol of life that will continue to spin. After the procession to bathe the goat, the ceremony and read the history of the Guci using Tegalan Language. Some comments from the committee and the local government were conveyed as a form of support to preserve the Ruwat Bumi Guci tradition. Then end with a mountain battle, prayer together, and entertainment that is usually filled with typical Tegal dances.
According to Ki Enthus Susmono, a well-known national puppeteer from Tegal, the Ruwat Bumi Tradition in Guci is not a heretical tradition, but a tradition of caring for the earth. The Guci people themselves believe that if there is heavy rain when the customary procession of the Ruwat Bumi Guci takes place, it is a form of blessing from Allah SWT to the people of Tegal Regency, especially the Guci residents.
The traditional Pejamasan ceremony is held every month Suro with a ritual of cleaning heirlooms and the curtain covering the tomb of Sunan Amangkurat Agung. Historically, Sunan Amangkurat Agung was an important figure in the founding of Tegal Regency, known as the descendant of the King of Mataram, Sultan Agung Hanyakrakusuma.
The Jamasan procession itself begins with tahlil, remembrance, recites the sahadat, and prayers and prays Amangkurat I. Prayer in the Junan Saman Amangkurat Tomb Tombs is intended for the ancestors to be forgiven of their sins and given a proper place in the sight of Allah. After the prayer activities together, continued with the replacement of mosquito nets, which then combined with the old mosquito net with other mosquito nets of the kings of Mataram were banned from the South Coast.
Sasono Wilagrat of Surakarta Palace, Gusti Kajeng Ratu Wandansari, M.Pd, asked the descendants of Mataram and the surrounding community to preserve the Jamasan tradition in the Tomb of Sultan Amangkurat 1 in Tegalwangi Pesarean Village, Adiwerna District, Tegal Regency.
Tegal Regency also has a distinctive dance, Endel Mask Dance. Endel's mask dance initially depicts a maid whose job is to entertain the queen or king of Brawijaya and greet guests before the one-night story scene begins. In the dance movement Endel masks adjust the style and behavior of the people of Tegal which can be seen in his dialect that is loud, fast and rough but has a subtle nature. Endel mask dance art is dance that uses white mask properties with flirty and beautiful characters, which have certain characteristics of Central Javanese culture, especially Tegal district.
This is Tegal regency with all the beauty of tourism, culture and good culinary. Don't forget to visit Tegal Regency. I, as a member of the Tegal Regency Tourism Ambassador Association, is very grateful for your time to read this blog. don't forget to visit Tegal Regency. see you on the next blog💞
